Criteria

Student who has a record of contributions towards the advancement of women in design-related fields. Applicant must exhibit leadership potential and demonstrate the ability to be a positive ambassador for the scholarship and women in the field.

Eligibility

Undergraduate or graduate student, planning to be enrolled in fall 2023, studying architecture, interior architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, or another design field. ​Must be attending or set to attend a Wisconsin university.

Award Value

One award of $1,000 to be distributed to the university to offset the winner’s tuition. The award winner is invited to accept the award at our Fall Rapid Speed Presentation / invited to present if they so choose.

WID Scholarship

Women In Design - Milwaukee is excited to announce that the WID scholarship award will be doubled in 2023 to further support individuals studying in design-related fields. We are thankful to the generous donors of Women In Design who have made this scholarship possible.

DELIVERABLES

1-page essay (12pt font, Times New Roman) describing how the applicant meets the stated criteria.

 

2 references (Name / Email / Phone Number / Relationship).

Only the outlined deliverables will be accepted.

Submit as one PDF, 10 MB Max.
