WID is excited to announce a creative Give Back opportunity for our members!
Event attendees will participate in a silk scarf dyeing workshop, instructed by local textile artist Sandi Keiser, at Lombardi Brewing Company in Milwaukee.
Inspired by the late Racine artist Maryruth Chorbajian, at the conclusion of the event, ALL scarves will be donated to a Racine women’s shelter. Maryruth aspired to create and donate one-of-a-kind healing scarves to women seeking refuge and working to rebuild their lives.
These beautiful, colorful scarves will provide a physical envelopment of love and care from our WID community to theirs.
o Attendance is limited to 25 participants.
o Please wear clothing and shoes you do not mind getting permanent dye on.
