December Give Back Event

In the spirit of giving, and in the age of a global pandemic, we are shifting our approach for this year’s Annual Give Back event. We are proposing a WID Day of Service as a DIY for our members to take at least one day, during December, to support another organization. See attached announcement poster for more information and suggestions on organizations you could support or volunteer with.

After you support your selected organization, we encourage you to share a photograph and/or brief description via social media or email it to us at widmke@gmail.com

This year we are also excited to support two local initiatives in the AEC community.

Wisco NOMA  & AIA Wisconsin just rolled out their new DEI Challenge. We encourage area firms to commit to this initiative as a way to foster Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness in their firms and projects. Details can be found at:

The ACE Mentor Program of Greater Milwaukee now in its fourth year, mentors high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in Architectural and Engineering Design and Construction through hands-on mentorship to students, in collaboration with area professionals. Details can be found at:
